Participants will hear case material from an ongoing treatment of a patient with eating disorder symptoms.  The presenter will discuss a conceptualization of the case using psychodynamic formulation. The presenter will also compare and contrast other theories frequently utilized in treating patients with eating disorder symptoms such as DBT and FBT.


Learning Objectives:
  1. Participants will be able to identify four concepts of a psychodynamic formulation.
  2. Participants will be able to define ego strengths and their importance in case formulation.
  3. Participants will be able to discuss a case using psychodynamic formulation.
